MINNEAPOLIS – A second death has been reported after a tornado that tore through north Minneapolis.
Friends and relatives say 53-year-old Rob MacIntyre collapsed about 6 p.m. Sunday, not long after he finished chain-sawing a tree blocking a street a block from his house. It wasn't immediately clear if he had a heart attack.
Dave Soderstrom, who had been helping MacIntyre, says it took paramedics time to arrive because they had to travel on foot. He says they worked on him for about 45 minutes.
Brother Dan MacIntyre noted that even though Rob MacIntyre's own property was seriously damaged, he was helping neighbors instead.
One person died in the tornado itself. That victim has not been identified. News reports said the victim was a man whose car was hit by a tree.
